Instrument care
Classical guitars are lightly built to improve the sound and require special care by the owner. Humidity is the enemy of all things built of wood. Wood will naturally release and obtain moisture from the atmosphere depending on the relative humidity. The best place to keep a high quality musical instrument is in an area where the humidity is between 40 and 50 percent. This is not always an easy thing to do but at a minimum you should keep the guitar in its case and have a humidity control device in the case and charged at all times.
